When you sent me an email to let me know my parcel was on its way, I did not click View Your Order. Why should I? I knew it was just leaving Arcwell. It did not say Click Here Every Day … because no one is going to deliver the parcel to my address or let me know that the parcel is waiting at UPS.
The email got deeper and deeper into my Inbox as I checked my mailbox regularly.
Then you phoned to tell me that UPS had sent it back.
Curious, I walked over to UPS. They said, ‘We don’t micromanage orders.’ Really.
About two weeks ago, I sent a parcel to my Toronto son. UPS quoted $44, so of course, I used Canada Post — $26.
I assumed you’d use low-cost Canada Post too.
I understand the process now. But I’d love to know why you don’t use Canada Post.

You're not alone—we’ve recently received a few similar complaints regarding lost or returned parcels with UPS. In light of this, we’ve started gradually shifting our courier service from UPS to Canada Post to better meet our customers’ expectations. The original reason we opted for UPS was due to a previous Canada Post strike, which impacted reliability and delivery timelines. We now recognize that it's time to reassess and make improvements.
